Jiyou Park (b. 1996, based in New York) creates sensory experiences through interactive installations that combine technology, light, and both natural and artificial materials. Her practice examines how relationships form and shift among people, materials, and environments through sensory and interactive systems. A background shaped by being born in Australia and raised in South Korea, along with formative experiences of personal deprivation, has cultivated a sensitivity to how different worlds meet, diverge, and at times collide. These elements form a foundational layer of her artistic direction.
